The weekend

For our wedding weekend, we’ll be venturing 2 hours north of NYC (our home!) to the town of Catskill, New York. We spent a wonderful weekend at our venue — a big, funky house on the banks of the Hudson River — for Dan’s 30th in 2018, and we’ve always wanted to go back. We have the run of the place throughout the weekend, so all events will be held outdoors on the grounds of the property, in tents or on the lawn, weather permitting.

We can't wait to see you there.

Transportation

Parking will be available at the venue — we suggest carpooling or taking an Uber/Lyft/car service (we won’t be shuttling folks en masse).

For best results, use the exact coordinates (42.2387, -73.8462) to map there, rather than the address or the name of the venue. Otherwise, you may end up at the beginning of a half-mile long driveway! If that happens, just ask your driver to turn off the main road and bring you to the door.

UPDATE: Uber / Lyft currently has limited availability in the area. If you're planning to rely on a car service for transport to / from the venue and/or train station, we’d recommend having numbers on hand for local taxis as well:

COVID-19 safety

We have an outdoor venue that allows us to be flexible and take precautions as needed. All events will either be on the ample-sized outdoor lawn, or under an oversize tent (60’ x 120’) that’s triple the space we’d need under normal circumstances, giving us room to spread out. We currently expect around 120 guests for Saturday.

Our guidance: while there are no state or venue requirements, we encourage everyone to get tested in advance, and we ask that you bring a mask to all events for use in close quarters.

Gifts

Community is incredibly important to both of us, and we feel lucky to have the opportunity to gather our friends and family to celebrate together this October. Your presence at our wedding (and your A-game on the dance floor!) is the only gift we ask for.

If you feel moved, we encourage you to build community in another way by supporting neighborhood mutual aid networks, which have been very important to us over the last year.

Here are groups from some areas our guests are coming from:

This isn’t an exhaustive list — if you know other great organizations in your communities, go for it!
