Traveling here
We recommend booking travel and a place to stay soon! October is a popular time of year for city dwellers to visit the Hudson Valley.
Here's some tips on how to get here and where to stay.

Flying in
Depending on where you’re flying from, Albany (ALB — 45 minutes away) or the three New York City area airports (EWR, LGA, JFK — 2+ hours away) are good options.
If you choose to rent a car, we recommend flying into Albany (ALB) or Newark (EWR). Navigating NYC traffic from LGA or JFK (plus the extra road tolls) could extend your drive times in both directions.
Taking Amtrak from NYC
If you’re coming from the city, Hudson, NY is a 2 hour trip from New York Penn Station with multiple departures throughout the weekend.
The venue, plus the surrounding towns of Hudson, Catskill, and Athens are all within a 10 minute Uber/Lyft from the train station.

Accommodations
The Hudson Valley area has a range of hotels and an even wider range of lovely Airbnb/VRBO accommodations. We don’t plan to block rooms at a specific hotel — our recommendation would be to book an Airbnb on the sooner side for best comfort/value, perhaps together with other family/friends (there’s a lot of larger-size houses that sleep 6-10 in the area).
- We recommend looking at the surrounding towns of Hudson, Catskill, and Athens for Airbnbs — they’re all within a 10 minute drive/Uber/Lyft of the venue.
- Other beautiful towns nearby include Saugerties (20 minutes out) and Kingston (30 minutes out).

If you prefer to stay at a hotel, some options include:
- St. Charles Hotel — Hudson, NY
- Comfort Inn — Saugerties, NY
- Howard Johnson Inn — Saugerties, NY
- Best Western New Baltimore Inn — Coxsackie, NY
Again — we recommend booking sooner rather than later. There are a lot of options in the area, but our date falls in peak foliage season and accommodations may get scarce/pricey as fall approaches.
